1-25-14 3kgt Engine Sound Video

Driving a few blocks from home I heard a new noise coming from the engine. Nobody else seemed to hear it, so I made a video of the car engine running trying to capture the sounds. It sounds like a "whishing" noise, not whoosh or hum, but like "wish" with an "h" in it "whishhhhhh" constant. But I don't have boost, so it's not a boost leak. Just a background engine sound. What I didn't know at the time was that the crank pulley aka harmonic balancer of the engine was starting to separate. The rubber between the outside & inside had given just about all it could. The crank pulley would last less than 1 more week, less than 100 more miles. These are the sounds at 262,420 miles on the dial.
